He began his journey in state policymaking in the 1970s with the Florida State Legislature. His subsequent roles as Special Counsel for Governor Bob Graham's administration and Partner at the influential Miami-based firm Sparber, Shevin, Shapo, Heilbronner & Book, P.A. gave him unparalleled insights into Florida politics.

He has been instrumental in several statewide political campaigns, such as the "Five for Florida's Future" campaign and two referendums that led to the legalization of gaming in Florida's pari-mutuel facilities.

Beyond lobbying, the company offers comprehensive consulting services in strategic planning, business development, and regulatory navigation. Leveraging his vast connections with elected officials and business leaders, he ensures that every client receives top-tier guidance.

Committed to community service, he contributes his time and expertise to several charitable organizations across Florida. He currently presides over the Miami Dade Homeless Trust, steering a budget of over $66 million to combat homelessness.

 

Ronald L Book  is also the Co-founder and Board Chairman of Lauren's Kids Foundation, a charity devoted to eradicating childhood sexual abuse. The Foundation's in-school curriculum, designed to raise awareness, educate, and support survivors, is now implemented in over 90,000 classrooms nationwide.

 
He  earned his law degree from Tulane University and his Bachelor's in Political Science from Florida International University. He was a track athlete for the Florida Gators at the University of Florida. He is a registered lobbyist, a member of the Florida Association of Professional Lobbyists, and a member of the Florida Bar.
